I think the only person worth proving anything to is yourself. In the grand scheme of things, you are the only one who is going to remember all your victories; and all your shortcomings. It often seems like things come upon you all at the same time or at inconvenient times. All you can really do is take a deep breath, swing when it's pitched to you, hope for a home run, be satisfied if you make it to a base, and keep breathing.Laurie Langillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07275265055975284111noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2449634081595465612.post-39124344389930592592008-06-17T20:21:00.000-07:002008-06-17T20:21:00.000-07:00You didn’t really think I wouldn’t comment did you...You didn’t really think I wouldn’t comment did you?

Yes, I agree… we are all a mess and we are all in the same boat… Let’s think back about some boats in history, think of some of the really famous ones…

The Ark…. A man thought to be crazed, had a lot coming at him, but somehow persevered and was able to handle it and keep it together.

Then there was a small fishing boat that was mentioned in a really old book, it was somewhere on the Sea of Galilee, in the middle of a rising storm, with a sleeping “Savior” on it. The crew couldn’t handle what was coming at them, the storm, so they went and woke Him up and he calmed the storm and stilled the wind (you brought Him up first).

And of course, we can’t forget the Titanic. What did they say about it? “Even GOD Himself couldn’t sink the Titanic” … Really??? …I know, I know… it was the iceberg.

Well, back to your point…we are all in the same boat. It’s called LIFE and if you really want to live it you have to take it, all of it, when it comes at you full force, and thankfully, when it comes at you peacefully, albeit sometimes you must take it with tears and frustration, IT, and I believe you will agree, is ALL worth the taking. And just for the record… He isn’t a fairytale to me, He work for me, but you already know that. Love you - The KidJoey Bosharthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04913570567627600050noreply@blogger.com
