I realized that the earlier pictures
I posted of some of my harvest were rather pathetic. Granted, it was not a stellar year for the garden.
Not just mine, but most everyone around these parts experienced lower than normal yields.
Things that normally did well, didn't, and vice versa.
So as we are finishing up our season and I took stock of the produce I did get and well, maybe not an abundance,
but for a former dweller of a major metropolitan area,
not too shabby.
There is something wonderful about growing things that you can eat and it does seem that the garden gets bigger every year.
That's a good thing, yes?

I'm with you, YES! Problem we had this year was grasshoppers... they got ALL of my broccoli, which made me mad/sad. Going to pull my cabbage out today.... before they get that too. I think your yields look phenomenal. Definitely not too shabby. Eat well!
Jealous!!!
Awesome Gina!!
I think I'd better post a little bit of our harvest. . . Plenty of squash, too. . . I think that stuff can grow in sand. Winter garden is started. . . what's that I hear you say? Can't get in a winter garden up there in the North? . . . so sad!
xoxo

No I haven't given up ... I've just been sufficiently overwhelmed with life and stuff. I was going to update any day now. I'm sorry my eFriend... Hugs.
