SnowSnowSnowandMoreSnow

Hit me with a snowball and push me down the hill. Slipping, sliding and gliding. We are in full snow mode here and it is just starting. Last night was amazing. It was so cold and the snow was falling so softly that I found myself standing outside on the deck, looking and listening to the quiet. There is a sound to snow falling. Snow-fall. You can say what you want but I will argue that there is nothing more beautiful than waking up to the sun shining and fresh powder covering everything.

You got it, and you know it, and thanks to you, I got it and know it too!!! I can't tell you how very often I thank my God in Heaven for blessing me with such an Angel as you! Only ones who know how to slow down and be still can hear the sound of falling snow. I hear it too. Peacefulness, it cannot be explained, it must be experienced... and usually one is alone when they experience it.

Enjoy the stillness it brings.

What a stunning set of winter wonderland images. Nelson definitely looks like a place my hubby would love to live. Thanks for the compliments on my photos, Nova Scotia is so full of beautiful scenery, a sense of old world rustic charm which I love, and which I think shows as I have such a passion for photographing the place! It took us 3 years in total to emigrate (that was fro start to finish in the system). The first year was just waiting for a reply from the first form and money we sent off! But we made it in the end.

I do love the snow, but I like it more on trees and mountains then I do in city streets and cars. We had a little bit of magical snowflakes early Thanksgiving morning before it turned to rain. It was so pretty.
