Compassionate Communication

There it is, her name painted on a rock...placed at the Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah, USA. Madir and Jeffrey, who are the most thoughtful of people, took the time to do this while they were there helping at the sanctuary. My heart skipped a beat when I saw it. It always does when I see or hear 'cowgirl'. What a sweet gesture and such a nice honour for my 'girl', my 'baddog', my 'sweet thing, ' my 'tao dog', my 'bestdog', to be included in that spectacular place. This lump in my throat is making it difficult for me to properly say "thank you" . (That's little GiGi at Best Friends Sanctuary -- a friend indeed.

when madir and i walked around the Best Friends mamorial grounds that they call "Angels Rest" I used up a box of tissues myself reading all the love and emotion filled tributes people wrote about their dear angels who have passed on. And just reading all the adorable pet names on their stones. So touching and so moving. A truly beautiful resting place. It felt so right that Pili and Cowgirl are now part of it. You are a dear friend Gina (and Thom too). Your words here touch us deeply. Jeffrey

Ow, Gina... I am very deeply moved by your loving words!
Much, much gratitude for who you are!
I so wish we could do more for CG, and you & Thom...
It felt like an incredible honor to be able to place this little, but precious to me, red rocks, fresh from the majestic Canyon that surrounds Best Friends, in memory of our very beloved girls.
Much love, Madir
P.S.When you will be "at Angel's Rest", look to your left, as soon as you enter the gate, the first alcove on the rock wall (next to the gate) with the "window" on the sky and Canyon, that is where I placed the Memorial Stones.
