Huntress-Gatherer

Well, I finally got them. Normally, I tend to not be so 'brand' enamoured, but hey, what can I say? I like them and now I can stop looking at pictures of them and they were on sale, in town....yah! Okay, I went with the black which is always classic and goes with everything (since everything else I own is black too, I suppose this was no-brainer). Now when I go mucking around the property visiting the compost pile I can feel quite stylish while finally finding the perfect footwear that combines fashion and function. Usually, one has to make the choice between the two and sometimes it ain't so pretty. Thank you K-grrl for the fleece inserts that arrived a full year before the boots!

Nice!! My 5 year old niece asked me the other day why I always wear the same pair of shoes. (her's were cute black sparkly things that day) I was wearing my KEEN hiking boots and tried to explain how comfort, function, and fashion are so rare for one shoe to posses. I also tried to explain how shoes cost soo much money. Then I realized I had already bored her half to death. oops.

Nice find!! Enjoy!

I had no idea that you could only wear Hunter sox with Hunter boots. I didn't think socks discriminated . . . I thought they would have some color or something special. . . but they are just black!?!?

It will go with you hemp top!!

They look just like my "rubbers" that I use for muck-muck days with the ponies. Well, less the shiny buckles, which I'm guessing are what makes them "fashionable". You made me curious, so I googled.... $125.00!!!!!! I stole mine from Walmart for $12, although they have no buckles or "Hunter" label on them. I guess I can't criticize though... I did have to have my Sorrel's for winter, which were a heavy penny, but worth it! Enjoy em!

Your boots have something my boots don't have....Princess KATE wearing them. VERY stylish, indeed. I saw a pic of her wearing your boots, so it is only fitting, since you ARE royalty, I mean, I did see a tiara in one of your kitchen shots... I think it was on the stove. Does that mean your the Queen of the Kitchen? Hugs lovey....

From the Princess in training....
