I have been feeling fragmented lately. Been feeling more a 'sum of my parts' rather than a complete person. Neither here, nor there. Restless, and letting that feeling that there is something more out there, to creep into my psyche. On the other hand, life is about as full as ever these days and health is optimal. Ahhhh. I think I just figured it out. It's those wacky near-death experiences that do it to you over the long run. Nearly dying changes one in subtle and not-so-subtle ways. For me, it has made life far less scary. Let me clarify a bit. Although, I still think and overthink things, jumping into the deep end is now fraught with anticipation, not dread. The problem being that there are just so many ways to go and so many things to do. Once again it comes down to making a decision and then just assuming it is the right one. My broken record of a mantra... live a life with no regrets.

No One Gets Out Alive

I couldn't agree more. It's not a broken record.. it's words of wisdom... a life of no regrets means you think and choose wisely. We've all made mistakes, and have lived with the regret, and the burn of the consequence of our actions, but that was yesterday. Today, aahh, today is the day I can live without regret. Live, I say, and LIVE large!
Well... the stats are out... believable as they are, "one out of every one person dies". Who would've figured that one! Death is inevitable, and a very hard subject for some to deal with, the thought of it makes people cringe and move on to talking about a different more fun subject... kinda like politics and religion... can be scary and very debatable. Not everyone believes in the same thing and that's ok, discussion and learning new things is good, because none of us knows it all, certainly not me. I believe preparing for death makes living all the more richer! Did you know that there was a man name Methuselah and he lived for 969 years... the oldest man ever to walk this earth... can you imagine living that long, been through all he's been through, would you want to live that long? Makes one think about the after life! The subject is open for discussion. :)

Thanx for the heads up on the rubber raft Gee. Apparently Texas is partially land locked. A new mode of transportation is therefore requiered. Unless of course I come in from the the Gulf of Mexico. A substantial possibillity given my history with maps. The bumper sticker is on my list. However if I cannot find the one you want,(and I survive the inquiry), I will find you a reasonable facsimile.
